chinese new year just passed,
wheeee love those angbaos,
recession doesnt affect the money within it okay XD
thats not the point but anyway this year's cny feels much less of one compared to previous year's.
because
#1 we didnt eat yusheng at all.
#2 we didnt prepare for cny until we realised it was just afew days to cny.
#3 we took out our only a few new clothes on the eve's eve to wash,
bedsheet didnt even have time to wash okay!
#4 i wore an old black shirt on the first day, reason being it perfectly matched my new red skirt XD

i quite enjoy last weeks' lessons.
the teachers promote thinking, not spoonfeeding.
we have to do research on our own and all.
i think its quite cool though :)
interesting how much you can find from the internet.

which reminds me we havent choosen our ccas yet, perhaps we'll choose tgt with the SH1s when they start school next week :)

i was opening the bathroom window after showering then...
...............................
i saw my opposite neighbour enter their toilet and strip off his underwear and sit at the toilet bowl? to read the straits time!
talk about obscene?
then after a while i saw him bathing!
omg at least he didnt look that horrible, 20+?
honestly their glass is so translucent its no good at all.
at least my glass has extra layer to cover XD
back to the neighbour,
their house has their windows closed almost permantly,
curtains and all too.
but why on earth didnt they think of the bathroom window!!
yikes.
anyway i saw them afew times,
i think theres 2 20+ guys,
a near 30 women,
and a 50+ man?
* shrugs*
they have 2 cars anyway.
once the two guys went to the swimming pool to make a horrible splash.
at first it was only leaning on the edge of the pool to use their feet to kick the water- towards their own house honestly -.-
they were wearing casual clothes.
then later i checked again they were already in the pool making more gigantic splashes, if i didnt close the glass door my house would be really wet.
when one person swims normally theres enough spillage of water,
what more purposely splashing of water by two damn childish guys,
guess what- the women was taking pictures for them okay!
ok so that was the longest time i saw them but today i saw most of what i didnt actually want to see. grrrrrrrrrrrrr
should i mention to them? XD
i used to think they weren't singaporeans cuz they speak an entirely alien language but if he knows how to read straits time he must know how english right.

i/ve moved here for 19 days already,
quite used to this area, at least the places i always pass by
but whenever i go to the east again,
i forgot i moved alr, serious!
wanted to go the opposite direction.

i'm super happy i made friends with my cousin-jiaying.
honestly! she has same name as me believe it or not.
but we've never spoken due to some long winded story.
anyway so on chinese new year day i broke the ice and invited her to play with the rest of my cousins and viola!
just found out she's in st margeret, tiffany's school- just down the road from njc :)
talk about fate!

which means i fulfilled my wish i made quite a long time ago
about jiaying(low) and gerald.
yay!
and i made more friends in class and among orientation groupmates:)
went to plaza sing yst as a gathering for debra's bday,
but we still split up into 2 distinct groups an, nvm though.
had pe today- i training my stamina
tried following pace of others- canoeists are great runners.
i go to the gym nowadays okay!
with my sister, mostly before dinner :D
work up appetite hahaha
burn those calories then pour it in all over again.
thursday schedule is really short-
start lessons at 0900
2 periods pe
3 periods bio
*free period+ recess*
2 periods e math.
*ends school at 1.15* - since i dont have elective.
:D
tomorrow is gonna be a really really long day though..

okay i think JH304 is quite nice a class ;)
considering no class is perfect and there'll inevitably be cliques and all.
girls seperated into 2 distinct cliques.
another clique: overseas scholars- 5china+ 2 vietnam =7 scholars.
guys: another one clique, there are only 8 guys altgt minus 4 scholars= 4 singaporean guys.
yeah the rest by themselves/pairs.
i'm fine by it anyway.
just that theres lack of guys again.
8 guys versus 15 girls.
nvm.
easier to concentrate -.-
one china guy super funny okay!
he say like every few sentences me and tiffany will break out into hesterical fit of laughter!
he calls us xiao lian di.
which he explained as :
" LOW STANDARD OF LAUGHING"
-which got us laughing all over again.
so many ppl say tiffany and me look alike.
sisters? twins?
seriously.
just like how last time everybody say maggie and me look alike but its not really.
nvm no harm resembling a good friend :D
SPIRE project work is super different from the one we had in secondary school..
tedious, challenging, completely new and clueless ppl like us.

wish me luck for all the new ways of classes /lectures/ projects/ textbooks/ teaching/ tests.

okay so maybe to say my orienatation group is love, is an overstatement.
theres cliques and all alr,
considering 4 of them come from same school,
two are in canoeing,
two are currently best buds,
two are china girls who mostly go tgt, and the rest two girls,
one hangs out with the first clique ,
the other hangs out with me but our characters dont really match that much.
rest 8 are guys.
but still they're all quite nice and enthusiastic when it needs to be, after 3/4 days everyone's zi-highing.
we had station games yesterday-
fun and freakingly WET.
but at least not that dirty to those i played in guides before.
they used mostly flour, detergent, eggs for the games.
oh and some very brown liquid with treeleaves looking thing. thats the most gross.
same class as grace and mindy's friend sijia and anna's friend xinyun.
both nvr meet before though ;(
hope i find a nice good friend!

i like it here at my new house and njc :D

we havent quite finished packing,
but at least it feels much more home-y /cosy
sad that theres no time to cook plus theres nothing much in the fridge.
i am getting used to climbing stairs already wheeeeeeee
now 2 floors is barely anything.
i should try to climb stairs whenever possible instead of being lazy and taking to lift ;)
oh i love my walk in wardrobe too :D
but i realised most of my clothes are in nude shades,
kinda boring to look at right?
so next time i buy clothes i shall keep away from black brown beige grey and white.
choose red, orange, pink, cream instead. accessories or blouse maybe.
i was just thinking of more red clothes yst then today go njc,
wheeeeeeeeeeee
pe shirt has red at the sides
and the shorts is wheeeeeeeee red.
i love njc uniform larh ;)
grey is nice too
apart from the a little large shirt nothings wrong.
skirt allowed 4 fingers above mid-knee.
they say no modifications to any part of uniform allowed but please lah,
i think 80% of the girls wont obey that.
alter skirt for sure.

journey to school takes about 40-60 mins?
must change bus though but thats alright.
today coming back i dropped off at the wrong stop,
but luckily it had another bus that led to my busstop
which came almost immediately :)
lots of students there since theres hwa chong, chinese high, nanyang girls and national jc all in the same area.
the OGLs are mostly quite nice :)
but the JH3 arent enthusiastic at all.
seriously.
i had influence of guides though
so i was a little more daring/enthusiatic to do cheers/sing etc.
but i think its just a matter of time before we get warmed up :)
the JH1 i think are even less enthusiastic.
principal keep on saying JH1 are "making history" because they are first batch of sec1s in the njc 6-year programme.
yeah and we JH3 are so not in the history books.
next year will be the last year there will be 4year ip. all focus on 6year ip alr.
i have one missing batch of juniors- the sec2s this year. nvm.
i wanted to join bowling but heard it might be disbanded?!
there are so many ccas but too many also arent good enough.
oh well.
okay thats it for my first day of school :)

i'm back
and the keyboard is alien to me
geez
seriously my fingers are getting weird.
probably due to too much storybook clutching lately.
oh well.
first day of school for most people except me and the rest of the ip ppl and jc ppl :D
actually come to think of it,
first days shouldnt be too scary,
afterall they're just a date on the calendar
which indicates its the day of something.
i mean imagine it as the third day instead and i believe it wouldnt feel so bad
right?
problem is u dont know what to expect too.
no wait.
problem with first days is that u dont know what to expect
so if u expect something good to happen like say,
you will talk to a new person and make friends,
then will first days still be so bad
okay if its about worrying who to go to recess with..
then expect that something will happen then and your worries will be solved and over,
(whether or not u go alone, its a thing of the past right?)

i didnt see anyone i wanted to see?
eh but theres no one i particularly want to see.
i just want to see somebody

because i feel a little weird sitting at home while

how about
of all the 23 library books due tomorrow
of which more than half is mine,
i still havent finished
two whole books and two half-books and the last 30pages of the book i'm on today.
did it mention due TOMORROW?
ok i did.
and if i dont return them,
a hole in my parents pocket
considering the number of books overdue
and the previous fines accumulated which we havent paid off.
great.
oh and i'm happy i started packing alr :)
i feel so old/mature/whatever
because i've been handling one sales manager for house moving and an property agent yesterday and today.
my parents are obviously not here again.
i pretty much handle 90% house visits by agents
not like they thank me anyway but whatever.
i can start training. good experience.
thats crap.
i thought of packing my clothes today
but my plan went askew

1. actually woke early in the morning to see my sis still sleeping,
which means earlier than 6am so obv went back to sleep again.
2. wakeup calls from my maid thrice, 8,9,10am?
3. i really woke up at 10+ and i figured its time for ahs recess. wheeeeeeeeeee
4. read urban for super long.
5. attempted to read adam khoos book but got restless and decided to read library book first.
6. grandma came over :)
7. property agent came with an australian family of three. handsome son- twenties?
8. jiayi came home around two, a little drenched due to lack of umbrella- she reported she saw afew ahs girls on the bus, end school so early today?
9. reads "getting rid of bradley" by jennifer crusie paused at page 303 to type this post.
10. mum calls to say another sales manager for moving house coming to give quotation at 630pm, and its my job to entertain him if she doesnt come back on time. i'm betting she doesnt, if she does its a new record.
